A taste of the good ol' days
Bailey is definitely my most eager model. She loves to go take pictures. On a rainy day we were out driving around looking for good spots and this old car was sitting on the side of the road with a for sale sign on it. I've photoshopped it but I think I may have overdone it. I've got to find a good stopping place in my processing.

If you could live forever, what would you live for...
Okay, so I've gone a little overboard and 'twilighted' my cat Ollie. He looked like a little vampire cat so I couldn't resist. Radar (the dog) thinks he's Buffy the Vampire Slayer because he's constantly giving Ollie, the vampire kitty, grief. They're pretty good buds and funny to watch. Just an FYI, I got the lightening texture from a website that I found on 2Peas. It is an awesome website with about 3800 free textures. This is the address http://www.mayang.com/textures/

My new favorite pastime...
To bee or not to bee...
Here I am again trying to will spring to get here. I'll be getting ready for work in a few minutes because I've been home all morning waiting for the ice to melt. People in Texas don't do ice (not on the roads anyway, just in a big glass of sweet tea). This is the same photo but one is just sharpened a little, and the other is photoshopped using a vignette and Redynamix that I downloaded. I couldn't decide which one I liked better. Retry: I put the first photo in again after dodging the center of the flower trying to make the bee stand out a little more.

Desi Noodle...
I have got to be the youngest great grandma that I know. Destiny is the youngest member of our family. She is 15 months old and belongs to Alyssa, my oldest granddaughter. It's really strange having a little one around again. She is into everything and I'm having to do the baby proofing all over again. Wow, how soon we forget.

Ready for Spring
These pictures are actually from 2007 but I've been sick and cold for the last two days and I needed to see something cheerful and fresh. I love my albino bluebonnet. If it's solid white can you still call it a bluebonnet? hmm The big blackbird was pretty cocky, he was the only male surrounded by a bunch of females. The red guy is sitting on the fence around my backyard.

Twins
Lori and I were practicing (or at least I was, again Lori was teaching me) and we saw a whole herd of horses. These two little guys were nuzzling each other and I thought that it would make a really cute picture. The picture itself was okay, but again with Lori's teachings, I made it better in Photoshop. I'm really happy with it.

The Littlest Hobo
Bailey is always wanting to go have her picture taken. She really wanted to have a photo shoot at the railroad tracks with Radar (my psycho dog). We were through but I wanted to go back down the tracks to get a shot of something else. When I turned around and started back, she was sitting on the rail looking way off in the distance. She looked so much like a little hobo running away with her dog. I was just playing around and can't really remember what actions I used but I really like the vintage look.
